Terms & Conditions

1. INTRODUCTION

  1. By entering this Big Lip Hunt London Competition (the "Competition"), all participants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions in full. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
  2. The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are aged over 16 or over at the date on which they enter the Competition, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Employees of the Sponsor (as defined below), its group companies, its agents or anyone professionally connected with this Competition and any member of their respective immediate families may not participate in the Competition.
  3. The Sponsor is HB UK Hold Co Ltd (“Huda Beauty”), a company registered in the United Kingdom, with its registered office at International House, 6 South Molton St, London, United Kingdom, W1K 5QF
  4. Entry to the Competition is in person, taking place in London on Sunday 15th June 2025 from 11:00 am to 17:00pm GST (the "Competition Period").
  5. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition. One entry per person only.

2. COMPETITION OVERVIEW

  1. The Competition is a live, in-person competition taking place during the Competition Period.
  2. Five (5) giant Huda Beauty lips have been placed next to Five (5) key London Landmarks across the Central London.
  3. To enter the Competition, you must play the game:
    1. Find all five (5) lips
    2. Collect a stamp at each stop
    3. Receive Huda Beauty prizes
  4. Additionally, amongst all the participants who have completed the Competition and have found the 5 Big Lips and collected the 5 Stamps by 3pm, we will draw:
    1. Fifty (50) winners to receive an extra goodie bag from Huda Beauty, that will be sent to their UK address
    2. Ten (10) winners to receive a final clue to meet Huda Kattan on the day!

3. ENTRY TO THE COMPETITON - How It Works

  1. Starting the Hunt – Lip One (1)
    Participants must begin the Big Lip Hunt by visiting one of our designated Lip Installation locations of their choice.
  2. Registration & Consent
    At the location, a Brand Ambassador ("BA") will welcome the participant and present a QR code. Participants must scan this code using their personal mobile device, which will direct them to a landing page. On this page, participants must:
    1. Enter their phone number, full name, email address, and postcode;
    2. Tick a box confirming that they are 16 or older at the date on which they enter the Competition, and that they understand that anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult;
    3. Tick a separate box to confirm they have read and agree to these Competition Terms & Conditions (the "T&Cs") and opt in to receive future marketing communications from Huda Beauty. Registration will not be completed unless the participant actively ticks both boxes.
  3. Participation Materials
    Upon successful registration, the BA will hand the participant a Big Lip Hunt Stamp Card, which includes five (5) blank lip icons to be stamped; and provide a Huda Beauty shopping bag.
  4. First Location Stamp
    The BA will stamp the first lip icon on the Stamp Card to mark the participant’s attendance at their initial Lip Installation.
  5. Next Clue Access
    The BA will then provide another QR code. When scanned with the participant’s personal device, this will display the clue to the next Lip Installation location.
  6. Next 4 Lip Installations – Checkpoint System
    At each of the subsequent four (4) Lip Installations, the following steps will apply:
    1. Participants must enter their phone number on the BA’s iPad to register the time of their arrival.
    2. The BA will stamp the Stamp Card with a unique lip shade specific to the location.
    3. Participants will receive a Huda Beauty gift (limited to one per person per Lip Installation - see clause 4 for prize details).
    4. A new QR code will be provided by the BA to reveal the clue to the next Lip Installation. The clue will be visible for five (5) minutes only.
    5. Each Lip Installation is an Instagrammable moment. Participants are encouraged to take and share photos, tagging @hudabeauty and using the competition hashtag #TheBigLipHunt.
  7. Final Stop – Lip 5 Completion & Grand Prizes
    At the fifth and final Lip Installation:
    1. Participants must enter their phone number on the BA’s iPad to register the time of arrival and confirm completion of the Big Lip Hunt.
    2. The Stamp Card will be stamped with the final unique lip shade.
    3. Participants will receive their final Huda Beauty gift (one per person, subject to availability).
    4. Additionally, all the participants who have completed the Competition and have found the 5 Big Lips and collected the 5 Stamps, by 3:00pm, will enter a prize draw:
    5. Fifty (50) winners will receive an extra goodie bag from Huda Beauty, that will be sent to their UK address.
    6. • The goodie bag contains: Lip Contour Stains in Rosewood, Soft Nude, and Warm Brown
      • Faux Filler Lip Oils in Juicy Pink Lady, Juicy Goji, and Juicy Peach
      • All items packaged in a collectible Huda Beauty quilted bag
    7. Fifty (50) winners will be contacted by Huda Beauty via email after the event with a form to complete to confirm their UK delivery address. The goodie bags will be shipped directly to the participants address
    8. Ten (10) winners will receive a final clue by WhatsApp to find the final location where they will be collected to meet Huda Kattan!
    9. The lucky ten (10) winners will receive the exact time together with the clue to the London location via WhatsApp for their pickup by taxi, they will be driven to their meet up location with Huda Kattan. No plus one (+1) will be allowed.
    10. Remaining participants of the Competition can continue the Big Lip Hunt to win their Huda Beauty gifts at each lip installation until 5pm.
  8. Creative Bonus Challenges:
    1. #1: Funniest Photo with the Lips
      Post your most hilarious pic at any lip stop with #HBLipHunt. 50 funniest entries will receive a bonus prize.
    2. #2: Most Mysterious Lip Post
      Create a funny but secretive post about the lip stops without giving away the location.
      The best creative will be selected for a mystery gift.

4. WINNERS AND PRIZES

  1. Gifts at Lip Installations (Lips 2–5)
    At each of the four remaining Lip Installation locations (Lips 2 to 5) unrelated to the location participants have started their hunt, participants will receive one Huda Beauty product per person, per checkpoint.
    Please note:
    1. Gifts are available in limited quantities.
    2. Distribution will be on a first come, first served basis.
    3. While stocks last — availability is not guaranteed.
  2. Huda Beauty Goodie bag – For the 50 selected winner of the prize draw
    All participants to successfully complete all five (5) Lip Installations will enter a prize draw to win an extra goodie bag from Huda Beauty which includes:
    1. 3 Lip Contour Stains in the shades Rosewood, Soft Nude, and Warm Brown
    2. 3 Faux Filler Lip Oils in the shades Juicy Pink Lady, Juicy Goji, and Juicy Peach
    3. All items presented in a collectible Huda Beauty quilted bag
  3. Meet with Huda Kattan
    All participants to successfully complete all five (5) Lip Installations will enter a prize draw to receive a final clue and win the chance to meet with Huda Kattan, on Sunday 15th June, 2025 in the afternoon.
  4. Additional details:
    1. The fifty (50) verified winners will be contacted by Huda Beauty via email after the event ends with a form to complete to confirm their UK shipping address.
    2. Goodie bags will be shipped directly to the confirmed addresses.
    3. The ten (10) winners will be contacted by WhatsApp with the time and a clue to the location in London, where they will be picked-up.

5. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

  1. The Lip Installations—including the lips, plinths, and associated gifts—are exclusively available to registered participants of the Big Lip Hunt and are not accessible to the general public.
  2. Huda Beauty reserves the right to refuse stamps, gifts, or entry into the competition if a participant’s behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or fraudulent.
  3. Participants with incomplete Stamp Cards or who have submitted inaccurate or missing information on the registration landing page will be ineligible for the Ultimate Prize and prize draw. Huda Beauty reserves the right to finish and close the competition early, if no prizes nor gifts are left to collect
  4. Huda Beauty reserves the right to substitute any prizes at any time and in any locations
  5. Huda Beauty reserves the right to cancel the meet-up with Huda for any physical or personal reason Huda Kattan couldn’t be present

6. MEDIA AND CONSENT

  1. By participating in the Big Lip Hunt, entrants consent to being photographed and/or filmed throughout the event.
  2. Huda Beauty reserves the right to use any photos, videos, or content captured during the Big Lip Hunt for social media, promotional, and marketing purposes.
  3. By submitting your personal details, you agree to Huda Beauty processing your data to administer the Competition and contact winners.
    If you would like to receive future marketing communications from Huda Beauty (such as product updates, offers, and brand news), you will be asked to opt in by ticking the relevant box during registration. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email or by contacting [email protected].
  4. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Participants who provide personal data but do not wish to receive marketing communications can opt out at the point of entry or unsubscribe at any time. Any data submitted will be processed in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and will not be used for automated profiling.
  5. Participants are asked to provide their consent during registration by ticking two boxes:
    1. To confirm they are aged 16 or over;
    2. To confirm their agreement to these Terms & Conditions and to opt in to receive
    3. marketing communications from Huda Beauty.
  6. These boxes must be actively selected for a participant’s registration to be valid.

7. DATA PROCESSING AND THIRD PARTIES

  1. To administer and fulfil the Competition, Huda Beauty (HB UK Hold Co Ltd, the “Sponsor”) acts as the data controller and has appointed One Agency Media Ltd (the “Agency”) as a data processor. The Agency processes personal data strictly on behalf of the Sponsor and in accordance with the Sponsor’s instructions and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
  2. The Agency may collect and process personal data, including names, contact information (e.g. full name, email, phone number, postcode), timestamps, and location identifiers associated with each checkpoint. These data will be stored temporarily on the Agency’s secure servers and managed using tools including, but not limited to: • Google Sheets, for event tracking and fulfilment logistics; • Mailchimp, for prize delivery and winner communication; • WhatsApp Business, for participant notifications (e.g., final meet-up info); • The Agency’s internal CRM system, for prize management.
  3. All personal data will be processed solely for the purposes of administering the Competition, verifying completion, communicating with participants, delivering prizes, and publicising the event (where specific consent is granted). The lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) and, where applicable, consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
    Following completion of the Competition and prize fulfilment, the Agency will securely transfer all relevant personal data to the Sponsor and will then delete all data from its own systems within 30 days. The Sponsor will remain the sole data controller after this transfer and may retain personal data: • To fulfil legal and operational obligations; • To contact participants who have explicitly opted in to receive future marketing communications.
  4. No data will be sold or shared with unrelated third parties. When using tools such as Mailchimp (operated by Intuit, headquartered in the United States), your personal data may be transferred outside the UK. In such cases, appropriate safeguards are in place, including the use of standard contractual clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

8. SAFETY AND LIABILITY

  1. Participants are responsible for navigating public spaces and city routes safely and respectfully. All participants must adhere to local laws and public safety guidance at all times.
  2. By entering the Competition, participants acknowledge that they do so at their own risk. Huda Beauty and its affiliated companies, agents, and representatives accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience suffered in connection with participation in the Big Lip Hunt, including but not limited to:
    1. Personal injury or property damage
    2. Theft, loss, or destruction of personal items
    3. Delays, disruptions, or issues related to public transport or access to locations.
    4. Technical issues with devices, QR codes, or connectivity during the Competition.
    5. Lack of battery on personal devices, interfering to their participation to the Competition.
    6. The organiser makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, about the suitability, safety, or availability of the locations used in the Competition.
    7. Participants are solely responsible for their own safety, personal belongings, and travel arrangements before, during, and after the event.
    8. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the organiser’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
    9. Delays or issues with prize delivery caused by third-party fulfilment services or participant provided errors (e.g., incorrect address);
    10. Any breach of data privacy arising from participant misuse or third-party app behaviour beyond our control (e.g., WhatsApp message forwarding).

9. GENERAL

  1. Any decision of the Sponsor in respect of the Competition is final. For questions regarding the Competition, email [email protected].
  2. Prizes may vary depending on availability.
  3. The Sponsor reserves the right to extend, withdraw, alter or suspend the Competition or to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
  4. By entering the Competition, each Winner gives the Sponsor permission to publish their Instagram handle if they are a winner of one of the prizes unless the participant notifies the Sponsor that they do not wish us to make these details available. Please note that the Sponsor will nonetheless be required to provide the names of all prize winners to a local regulatory authority, such as a local advertising authority, if requested to do so.
  5. The Competition and these terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and participants can bring legal proceedings in respect of the competition and these terms and conditions in the courts of England and Wales.
  6. Proof of age may be requested at any time during the event to confirm eligibility. Any entry found to have been submitted in breach of the age requirement may be disqualified, and any associated prize forfeited.

10. TECHNOLOGY, CONNECTIVITY AND THIRD-PARTY APPS

  1. The Competition involves the use of participant mobile devices, QR code scanning, and online registration forms. Huda Beauty and the Agency do not accept responsibility for any:
    1. Loss of connectivity or mobile signal during the event;
    2. Failure of participant devices to access or display content;
    3. Inaccuracies arising from third-party services used during the event (e.g., QR redirection, WhatsApp delivery, Mailchimp email confirmations).
  2. The use of third-party apps, such as WhatsApp Business, is subject to the provider’s terms of use and privacy policies. Participants are advised to familiarise themselves with these.
